Best quirky little place in the city. Comfortably odd. Great covered outdoor seating with heaters. A pool table and nice niches all over the place so it’s easy to talk and relax with great beer.

I didn't get to enjoy this place at night, but I stopped in at happy hour and this is my favorite type of place. Weird, old, charming and fantastic.

A nice neighborhood place, but the cash-only policy is annoying.
Mystery Theater
Plenty of outdoor seating. Small but nice liquor selection. Friendly service. Can't say I would go there for food. Good live music from time to time. Rustic atmosphere.

This place is so unique and awesome. The collection of stuff here is mind blowing and eclectic. We had my dad's retirement party here and it was great. Alf the owner is so cool. Food was amazing. It's like a museum but cooler. Thank you Roadside Attraction!

Fun atmosphere. One of the true things that makes old Portland the foundation of the city we learned to love.

A Roadside Attraction is one of the last bastions off Portland. Like every where else there are hipsters.. But here there are less. One of the best jukeboxes in Portland is here... Strong drinks.. Beautiful people... Terrible food.. this is a place that I go when I miss Portland the most. Don't go here because you are terrible. Don't go here because your card won't work here.

I didn’t eat. I only drank, and I loved every minute.

Drinks are a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for because they don’t skimp in the liquor. Pool room was chill and the artwork was amazing. Small, quaint, abstract, and a little weird. All the plants were a nice touch as well.

Cash only. Strong drinks. Plenty of smokers are the patio area. Be ready to feel like you are in a I spy book.

Best patio at any bar I've been to in Portland. It's cash only, but the ATM fee isn't that bad. Definitely worth checking out.

Such a good spot! Cash Only. Good food and drinks. Eclectic, cozy space with nooks that are more private to bigger spaces to gather. Outdoor patio feels like someones backyard. A must stop-in when in the area or visiting from out of town! Prawns and Mac n Cheese were delicious... Next time I'm getting it with extra sauce!

The staff was very nice. The patrons were very nice. The atmosphere was very nice. The drinks were very nice. Subsequently, the overall all experience was very nice and I would definitely recommend.

Cash only! Very unique bar tucked away woth lots of secrets!

Trendy with some funky old furnishings laid back atmosphere with decent food and drinks $$$ but prices are a bit high and parking is hell so take a UBER or LYFT, cash only sales with on site ATM with a 4 $$ service fee, good enough place if you just want a bite and a drink just not one of my favorites

Friendly cozy atmosphere while still being artsy. I take away a few points for it being cash only. That gets really old after a while. The front area with the tables is fantastic. Could easily change to 5 stars on a second visit

Quite the scenery! The name is definitely fitting for this bar, there's SO much to take in! Seems to get busy quite often but that's to be expected of an establishment as wonderful as this!

I love this place and have been coming here for 12 years! I love the employees, very friendly and have been there for years! Always a must when I’m in Portland!

A great value for your dollar! We had a round of drinks and some excellent nachos for around 10 a person. The nachos were tasty (and black beans based for vegetarians!) and the atmosphere was awesome. The outdoor area was good for dogs and smoking with heat lamps to keep you warm.

A Roadside Attraction is the epitome of what makes Portland so special. The courtyard entrance is a hodgepodge of chairs and lounge areas reminiscent of some Bohemian enclave in 1965. On entering, the clientele is also a hodgepodge of all ages and persuasions. Fortunate to find two places at the bar, the person next to me was kind of enough to wipe the bar in front of me offering, “ Let me clean that for you.â€â€œWhy, thank you!â€The friendly bartenderess poured my local vodka the way I like it, and smiled the whole time. This is a happy place, but it is cash only. A Roadside Attraction represents what I love about Portland. No one judges, and everyone is allowed to just be. Our engaging server gave us suggestions for our dinner at Kachka and she was right on. We wanted to return to A Roadside Attraction after dinner, but we were too full. However, we will return on our next visit to Portland.

Great bar in inner SE. There are lots of spaces in the bar to sit and chat and the whole place is covered with a bunch of fun quirky decor. There’s a pool table and a jukebox. The outside has swing, more private spots to sit, and is a funky little oasis to sit with friends and your dog or on a date. Food was fine—nothing to write home about—and the drinks are reasonably priced. Forewarning: it’s cash only. But there’s an ATM by the jukebox.

Every thing in the place is intriguing, and the service was super friendly and accommodating.

Plenty of room to be comfortable. A little bit tricky understanding the layout. What I think is the entrance has an exit sign on it. a friend of mine told me to be careful of rain dripping into your drinks on the patio. The fully covered bar in the back is very warm and comfortable. Excellent decor! Great food. Okay tap list. Friendly people. More respectable than some local dive bar

My new favorite place for drinks!

Sweetheart of a bartender, today. Darkly lit inside, sheltered outside. I love it.Definitely try the chocolate porter by Boulder Beer Company, it's awesome. This is the kind of place I think of when I think of Portland.

Such a great place to hang out in the summer. You’ll love the funky patio and eclectic “shipwreck†meets Shanghai interior decor. Lots of interesting bits and bobs to look at. The interior is dark and full of atmosphere. The bar food is generously proportioned. The drinks are quite decent. The patio courtyard has a very socially friendly set up. You can cloister yourself in various private alcoves or talk to the other guests in the central area. It was a fun place to eat, drink, talk, people watch. Lots of interesting people were spending time there.
